The Tevatron Program and its Search for the Higgs Boson

The Tevatron has had remarkable success over the years. The performance of the Tevatron of late has given everyone hope that the Tevatron will be able to say something significant about his elusive particle In this talk, I will discuss some of the physics goals of the Tevatron program, how we are actually able to make measurements in such a complicated environment, and finally cover a few of the many highlights of the program through the eyes of the CDF program including the search for the Higgs. I will close with where we are heading and the physics motivation behind the request for an additional year of running.
