2009, expected - Ph.D. in Physics (theoretical AMO), University of Connecticut (GPA 3.8). Major Advisor: Robin Côté

2004 - Diploma in Physics from University of Zagreb (Croatia). Diploma thesis: "Photoassociation spectra of lithium homo and heteroisotopic molecules", advisor Dr. Robert Beuc (Institute of Physics)

Education - Other

Winter School of Microtechnology and Nanotechnology, MIC, Copenhagen (Denmark), January 2002

IAPS Summer exchange programme, JATE, Szeged (Hungary), summer 1999

Višnjan School of Astronomy, Višnjan (Croatia), summer 1998

Professional Experience (Physics)

Research Assistant for Dr. Robin Côté, Dept. of Physics, University of Connecticut, 2007 and spring semester 2008

Assistant System Administrator for Dr. Michael Rozman, Dept. of Physics, University of Connecticut, fall 2005 - present. Various projects that include assisting in system administration of the Physics department computer system, building workstations, construction of the new web site for the Physics department using Plone Content Management System (CMS) and writing web applications (html, css, php, mysql, javascript) required by the department.

Graduate Research Technician for Dr. George Gibson, Dept. of Physics, University of Connecticut, summer 2005. I was involved in the experimental investigation of wavepackets in the vibrational states of hydrogen and iodine molecules using homemade femtosecond laser.

Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Željko Ivezić, Department of Astronomy, Princeton University, summer 2003. I worked on processing the data from SLOAN Digital Sky Survey and comparing it to the theoretical models of galaxy evolution.

Undergraduate Research Technician, volunteered in laboratory for laser spectroscopy at Institute of Physics in Zagreb (Dr. G. Pichler's group), fall 2000 - spring 2001. I was involved in measuring the photoassociative spectra of alkali molecules in sapphire cells using laser-induced flourescence, as well as in setting up an independent experiment to achieve sonoluminescence of air bubble in water.
